Tamiya Buggy Champ Pre-Orders Available at Hobby Search, Japan (UPDATED – and now the US)!

I just got an email from Japanese Hobby Retailer, Hobby Search, and they are taking reservations for the new Tamiya Buggy Champ. Reserve yours here.

Update: If you live in the US, both Tower Hobbies and Horizon Hobbies are taking pre-orders for the Buggy Champ. They are also starting to pop up on ebay (links provided below).

Just in case you’ve been hiding in a closet for the past month, Tamiya is re-releasing the Rough Rider in it’s original form, sans its name, as the Buggy Champ. It’s expected to arrive on store shelves some time in July. More info on RCGrabBag here and here, and Tamiya USA.
