RGB Virtual Propeller Clock

By | Aug 3, 2010

I don’t know what it is about clocks as of late, but after experimenting with some Nixie Clock kits recently, I couldn’t help but stumble on to one of these ingenious devices.

The clock operates by spinning a single row of blinking LEDs around in a circle very fast. The blinking is done in precise time with the spinning to produce some crazy graphics, some of which actually looks like a clock. The others, well, you’ll just have to watch the video below to see this amazing device in action.

The clocks are built by Illumi-nations and sell for $239.95 each.
