I've gotten most of my stuff from ebay. You might get lucky and find something buried in an old hobby shop, but that's getting harder to do as the value of these Tamiya collectibles goes up. Most of these vehicles will cost you several hundred dollars or more depending on the condition. Unassembled NIB kits can go for several thousand.

Hi there, Boy does your stuff bring back memories. If I only had the where with all do keep my vintage Tamiya stuff. But marriage and kids soon take the place of hobbies. Well any way my name is Matt and I am a friend of Bill Steklenski. I have slowly been rebuilding my Tamiya collection(very slowly). One of favorites were the Sand Rover, Fast attack and Wild One. and of course the Rough Rider. Is Ebay the best avenue to find these? In your professional hobby opinnion what are fair realistic prices to pay for these cars, I realize the Rough Rider is probably out of sight. Do you sell any vintage Tamiya stuff or just collect. I also have a few vintage Cox cars and alot of nitro vehicles, the Cox are neat for nostagia but you cant beat the realism of nitro R/C.Take care and Happy Holidays, Matt
