Hey jonny!

Here's another scam I see quite frequently. I just listed a ladder rack on Craigs List for 450.00, someone responded in broken english saying something like this, "I want to buy your rack with fast payment send me your info and address and I send you a certified check right away, after your recieve your funds I'll send my shipper to get the rack." Well nobody I know is going to buy a used ladder rack with a certified check. If I had given my info I would have recieved a check for $4500.00. I would call him and he'd say his secratary made a mistake and put one to many zeros on the check, so just deposit it and send me back the $4050.00 difference. I would never here from him again and shortly there after the check would come back counterfeit and the bank would demand payment of $4500.00. My response to this add was "cash only, pickup only" I never heard from him again.
