Just received my Q5W Friday, played around with the GPS functions, works like advertised! I’m new to using GPS, but am wondering if it’s possible to use another software package on the unit…hmm

Have you tried out all the different voice choices? I’ve seen GPS hacks where someone has recorded their own voice in place of the the units!

The company that provides the maps in the Cowon is Tele Atlas. They have maps for all over the world, but, I don’t see in the Cowon GPS cradle’s instructions, any way to upgrade the maps. There must be a way, but I haven’t found it yet. Tele Atlas’ website is http://www.teleatlas.com.
