OWC – Your Mac’s Best Friend
I wrote last week about a memory DIMM going bad in my Mac Pro. I purchased four 2GB DIMMs from OWC over two and a half years ago, but, OWC has a lifetime warranty on memory, so it was a simple matter of calling them, getting a replacement DIMM shipped, and I was back to full memory capacity by last Friday. Mac Pro Meltdown
Here in the Northeastern U.S. (and other places, I’m sure) it’s been pretty darned hot and pretty darned humid. Today we had a thunderstorm roll through in the early afternoon and our power went out for a couple of minutes. When the power came back on, it killed my Mac. (more…)
