Tamiya Super Champ (1982)

The Super Champ was an update to the SRB (Special Racing Buggy) chassis and was the last of Tamiya’s ‘heavy metal’ buggies. After the Super Champ, plastic would reign supreme as the structural material of choice for Tamiya’s off-road buggies.

I tried to order one for home delivery online, but like many others, Apple’s website kept crashing whenever I tried to complete the order. Oregon Photo Tour

Tamiya Bruiser (1985)
Continuing the three-speed tradition started in 1981 with the Hilux, Tamiya sought to improve upon the concept by adding a bigger motor and more weight. The result was the ever-popular (and still expensive) Bruiser. (more…)
